Balinese New Year Retreat 2018

ULU (edge)         WATU (stone)

MARCH 14-20 2018: Uluwatu, Bali

Come with us to the Edge of new beginnings in Uluwatu, Bali. No stone left unturned. No dream left unattended.

Come leap with me,

Erin

Ultimately, why I love traveling is because you never know who you are coming back to. You bring yourself to the edge of your comfort zone and consider all the things that could hold you back and you say yes anyway. A slowing down is hoped for. Discomfort is inevitable. Things get churned and hopefully felt. This is also the place where healing happens. Creativity sparks. And what comes with that is a renewed sense of gratitude and awe of this short, sweet, crazy life.

Bali was life changing for me. That is why I are going back. And hopefully you'll consider saying yes to the adventure and opening as well. Magic awaits at the precipice.

Join Erin for a trip of a lifetime at the world renowned Uluwatu Surf Villas in magical Bali! Consider this a pilgrimage back home. To you. Your healing. Your purpose and your dreams. This journey was intentionally crafted to take place over the 6 day Balinese New Year ceremony including Nyepi (day of silence), considered the most sacred and important holiday in Bali.

Expect to be immersed in daily ritual, magic and the energy of Bali during this unforgettable week. Our week together includes morning meditation and yoga classes overlooking the breathtaking Uluwatu cliffs, afternoons of excursions, surfing or sunbathing and evening journeys and meditations. We will set the container for your senses to reawaken, for you to reconnect to yourself and to experience a deeper state of freedom with this lush island paradise backdrop as our muse.

FAQ

What time does the retreat start and end?

It starts late afternoon on Wednesday, March 14 and ends at noon on Tuesday, March 20th. Plan to have dinner and evening gathering at the retreat center on the 14th and breakfast on the 20th.

When should I arrive in Bali?
We recommend arriving the day or two prior and staying on the island so that you can have time to unwind, unpack and more easily jump right into the first evening of the retreat with the group. If you are arriving the day of, please let us know your travel booking info and we will arrange complimentary airport shuttle pickup.

Do I have to participate in all activities?
This is YOUR retreat, you’re never required to do any of the activities and we’re planning to give you plenty of free time to explore, shop, surf and relax on your own.

Do I have to have yoga and meditation experience to go?

Not at all, just an open mind. All of the classes will be appropriate for all levels, beginners to advanced practitioners.

What airport do I fly into?
The airport code is DPS, which stands for Ngurah Rai International Airport (in Denpasar). Uluwatu Surf Villas is an easy 45 minutes from the airport! The retreat includes complimentary airport transfer both ways.

If I am coming with another person, can we split the retreat cost?
Retreat costs are per person. If you wish to share a room with the person you’re going with, you can make a roommate request once you have booked. In addition, there is a discounted rate for couples (or close friends!) sharing a bed. Prices are as listed.

Do I have to bring my own yoga mat and meditation?
Everything is provided at the retreat center. Save a load and leave your mat at home!

What will a typical day look like?
You can participate in the retreat activities as much as you like and move at your own pace. We’ve carefully crafted a schedule to give you plenty of daily practice, free time, group mingling and option to participate in traditional Balinese and/or nature excursions.

Prices include accommodation, three meals per day, excursions and transportation from/to airport. Flights not included. Place a non-refundable $500 to reserve your space.
